Furoshiki is a square cloth traditionally used for wrapping a gift or transporting the objects. Nowadays Furoshiki became extremely popular in Japan as it is ecological. We can use and reused it again and again. We can make bags, use as scarf, wrap wine bottles, gift wrapping, or transport objects of any shape.
This Furoshiki is double-sided. One side is green, and the other side is red.
Plum flower is one of the very popular and traditional flower pattern in Japan. The Plum is associated with the start of the spring, because plum blossoms are some of the first blossoms to open during the year.
This Furoshiki has been made by Isamonyo Kenkyujyo (Atelier Isamonyo),famous for Tataezome, the traditional Japanese technique of stamping, since almost 70 years ago.
